Hi! I'm Rodrigo Garcia, a high school mathematics teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Northeastern Illinois University and a Master's degree in Education from DePaul University. I believe that math is more than a collection of formulas — it's a way of thinking that helps us understand and solve real-world problems.
My goal as a tutor is to help students build genuine confidence by developing a deep understanding of the concepts they're learning, rather than simply memorizing steps. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, meeting them where they are and helping them grow at a pace that challenges and encourages them.
I tutor Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, Physics, and ACT/SAT Math. As a bilingual educator, I'm also happy to work with students in both English and Spanish, making sure language is never a barrier to learning.
